Rachel G. Hackenberg is an author, speaker, and ordained minister. She is the author of Sacred Pause: A Creative Retreat for the Word-weary Christian, Writing to God, and Writing to God: Kids’ Edition, which offers simple prayer ideas to encourage kids to talk with God about everyday life in everyday language. Rachel often is a guest preacher and retreat leader, and facilitates workshops on writing and prayer, clergy renewal, and congregational vitality.
